School of Aerospace and Aviation

This school prepares students for vital careers in the Pacific Northwest working with large and small airlines and airports as pilots and aviation maintenance mechanics. Students in these programs study at CPTC's South Hill Campus next to Pierce County Airport.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Science, Technology, Engineering and Design

The cutting-edge technical programs in this school prepare students for careers in a wide range of high-tech industries, including engineering; graphic, digital and interior design; computer programming and network security; and more.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Automotive and Trades

These top-notch programs prepare students for careers in the automotive industry and the skilled trades. Some career options for these students include automotive mechanic, auto body repair technician, heating and air conditioning technician, electrician, construction worker and welder.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Advanced Manufacturing

This school features program options that prepare students for careers working in a variety of advanced manufacturing industries, including working with automated robotic manufacturing, fabricating composite materials, testing materials for destructive flaws, and more.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Nursing

Our nursing program offers numerous options to prepare students for careers in the nursing industry. Graduates can begin careers as a licensed practical nurse or certified nursing assistant, and pre-nursing courses can prepare students to transfer to four-year programs.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Health and Human Development

We offer a variety of health sciences and human services programs to prepare students for careers in the healthcare, early childhood and human services industries. These programs lead to careers in a wide range of healthcare fields.  VIEW PROGRAMS

    • Description: Resumes are a crucial element to a successful job search… is your resume ready? Join Julie Lancour, faculty counselor, for an overview of the resume writing process on Wednesday, January 22 at 11 am in Building 21, Room 214. We hope to see you there! There will be two sessions. 11 AM - 12 PM and 2 PM-3 PM. RSVP is recommended as space is limited.

    • Description: Program Information Sessions are where you can meet instructors, view training areas and ask questions. You'll learn about wages, job outlook, tools and supply lists. Walk-ins are welcome, and we recommend that all students attend. Student success offices — like financial aid, advising and enrollment services — are open until 6 p.m. after Info Sessions.

      Program Information Sessions are normally held at 3 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. In most cases, program information sessions are held in the facility or classroom where the program is taught.

    • Description: We’re going to the planetarium! Join CPTC for an off campus adventure that is out of this world! We're going to the Pierce College planetarium located at the Fort Steilacoom campus on Saturday, January 25. This event is open to current CPTC students and ONE FREE guest@ The event starts promptly at 4:30pm and is one hours long. RSVP is required as space is limited! Explore the night sky, fly through the solar system, explore the universe, and learn about new astronomical discoveries.
