How to Apply to CPTC

Welcome! Here are the 4 steps to guide you through the CPTC entry process.

Step 1 Explore Careers

Check out all the programs available at our college. www.cptc.edu/schools

OR

Attend an online or in-person program info session. www.cptc.edu/info-sessions

Step 2 Apply

Kick start your journey by applying for admission at apply.ctc.edu/user.

Step 3 Connect With Us

Review placement options with an entry coordinator in the Welcome Center. Bring along your transcript or GED, SAT/ACT, Smarter balanced scores for the initial meeting (if applicable). Before coming to campus, take a short survey to help us find the right classes for you and get the support you need to be successful.

Step 4 Apply for Aid

Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online or Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA) and submit all additional documents to the Student Aid and Scholarships Office (Building 17).

Did you know?

CPTC is a open enrollment, non-competitive college. There are no fees and no deadlines to apply for general enrollment. Students can apply any time for the following quarter. 

Programs with competitive enrollment set their own application timelines, fees, and entry criteria. Information is on their webpages.

We strongly encourage all prospective students to apply for financial aid as soon as possible.
