Careers today need people who can imagine and build. We invite high school sophomore, juniors, and seniors to a day-long immersion experience at Clover Park Technical College. We will provide transportation, meals, and access to faculty experts who will facilitate use of on-site equipment. Participants need only bring their creativity!.
Featured programs: Construction, Welding, Mechatronics, and Advanced Manufacturing
Who can participate: Students entering their sophomore, junior, and senior years in high school
Cost: Free, RSVP required
Deadline: Registration closes on Friday, August 4 at 5:00 p.m.
Included:
- Transportation to/from three nearby high schools
- Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks
- Safety equipment and materials for projects

- 7:45 a.m. Meet bus for transportation to CPTC
- 8:30 a.m. Welcome and orientation
- 9:00 a.m. Small groups
- Track A: Welding

- 10:30 a.m. Small groups swap locations
- Track A: Construction

- 12:00 p.m. Lunch
- 1:00 p.m. Small groups

- 4:00 p.m. Review the day and snacks
