Benefits of College in the High School (CiHS)
- Get a head start on college: Earn CPTC college credit on your high school campus and move faster toward your educational goals.
- Save money: Classes are free for public high school students.
- Use college services: Enrolling in CiHS gives you access to all services offered by CPTC.
CiHS is a partnership between CPTC and local high schools to offer career and technical education in the high school. CiHS provides college credit for technical training at no cost to the high school student. The program is for students in grades 9 through 12.

If your high school offers CiHS courses and you would like to enroll, follow these steps:
- Contact the College in the High School team (cihs@cptc.edu) to confirm your high school and program is being offered for the school year you would like to attend.
- Apply to CPTC - https://apply.ctc.edu/user
- Register for your classes once your student ID number is created
