Community Resource Navigation provides individualized assistance to CPTC students experiencing barriers that may affect their enrollment, attendance, academic progress, or ability to complete their program.

Services May Include:

Resource Navigation does not guarantee financial assistance, housing placement, or acceptance into an outside program. Final eligibility and service availability are determined by the applicable college program or community provider.

Washington Connection

Washington Connection is a website providing information and resources for people who may qualify for benefits and services, such as food, cash, medical, childcare, long-term care, and healthcare. From this website, you can see if you qualify and apply for multiple benefits using their online application. If in case you do not qualify, Washington Connection does offer further information for additional services through community partners and resources.

Career and Community Services is here to help students in developing the skills and confidence to navigate their career journey. Our career readiness services provide the tools, resources, and guidance needed to search for jobs, craft strong application materials, and prepare for interviews.

What We Do Not Offer:

• We do not create individualized resumes, cover letters, applications, or letters of recommendation for you.
• We do not submit application or secure interviews on student's behalf.
• We do not assist with findings or sourcing specific job leads.
• We do not guarantee job placement.

Late Appointment Policy: Appointments may be cancelled and/or rescheduled if you arrive more than 15 minutes late.

Materials Deadline: All material should be submitted at least 24 hours before the appointment. If you do not submit your materials, your appointment will be cancelled and/or rescheduled.

Our services provide guidance, editing, and optimization of job search materials, but we do not create resumes, cover letters, or applications from scratch. You must supply original content and information based on your own skills and experience.
