Opportunity Grant

Clover Park Technical College’s Opportunity Grant may assist eligible students with educational expenses such as a tuition, fees and books for a maximum of 45 credits over a three-year period. Awards are based on student need and grant availability so may vary from quarter to quarter.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) OR the Washington Application for State Financial Aid (WASFA); demonstrate unmet financial need
  • Be a Washington State resident
  • Be admitted into one of the eligible program pathways
  • Maintain satisfactory academic progress according to CPTC’s financial aid policies. (Students must not be in financial aid suspension or in student loan default.)
  • Have income at or below the Federal Poverty Guidelines below:

Washington Connection is a website providing information and resources for people that may qualify for benefits and services; such as food, cash, medical, childcare, long-term care, and healthcare.  From this website, you can see if you qualify and apply for multiple benefits using their online application. If in case you do not qualify, Washington Connection does offer further information for additional services through community partners and resources.
