On-campus resources:

Mental Health Services (Faculty Counselors- 253-589-5541):

  • CPTC offers short-term counseling services to help students manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. These services are confidential and aim to support students' emotional well-being.
  • If students require long-term or specialized mental health support, counselors can assist them by connecting them with community resources and external mental health professionals, ensuring access to appropriate care.

Support for Basic Needs (Community resources office- 253-589-5503):

  • CPTC's initiatives aim to address students' basic needs, such as food and transportation, ensuring they can focus on their education.

Food Security (Service and Leadership Center- 253-589-5780):

  • The CPTC Food Pantry provides students access to free food items to address food insecurity.

Transportation Assistance (Service and Leadership Center- 253-589-5780):

  • Students can access free bus passes (CPTC ORCA Card) to ensure they have reliable transportation to and from campus.

  • This center offers students a space to relax, connect with peers, and engage in campus activities. It also provides resources like maps, event information, and support for student organizations.

Security (Security Dept- 253-589-5682)

  • Provides a safe and secure environment through the following services: campus patrol, parking/traffic enforcement, emergency response, incident investigation, lost and found management, basic first aid, escort services to or from your vehicle, battery boosts, building access, and the assignment of keys and alarm codes.
