Per RCW 40.14, identifying records, determining how long they must be retained, and authorizing legal disposal is a function of the compliance division at CPTC.
All employees are responsible for the maintenance of records in their individual departments/divisions.
CPTC utilizes the services of the State Records Center for record storage.
