COVID-19 Info for Campus Visitors

Guidelines at a Glance for Other Campus Visitors

  • Vaccinations required - CPTC is a "vaccinated campus."
  • Vaccine attestations - All campus visitors who are neither students nor employee must attest to their vaccination status as part of the regular campus check-in process. 
  • Masks - Masks are required of all people while inside of any campus building or facility, regardless of vaccination status.

Governor Inslee's August 18, 2021 announcement applies to all employees, on-site contractors and on-site volunteers at all public and private K-12 schools, public and private 2- and 4-year institutions of higher education.

All CPTC students and employees are required to complete an attestation of vaccination status and provide either:

Vaccine card: COVID-19 vaccine manufacturer and date(s) received.

  • Exemption based on medical or religious reasons.
  • All Individuals will be required to wear masks indoors at all times.

In All Cases, You Acknowledge:

This attestation is truthful, and I understand that I will be subject to disciplinary action under applicable guidelines, contracts, or collective bargaining agreements if this attestation is determined to be untruthful.

If You Are Fully Vaccinated, You Acknowledge the Following:

IHE and state and local public health officials may require further verification of your vaccination status, including observing the CDC vaccination card, state immunization information system record, or other verification documentation at any time.

If You Are Partially Vaccinated, You Acknowledge the Following:

IHE and state and local public health officials may require further verification of your vaccination status, including observing the CDC vaccination card, state immunization information system record, or other verification documentation at any time.

If You Are Declaring an Exemption, You Acknowledge the Following:

Vaccination exemptions are available for medical or religious reasons

  • I decline to receive a COVID-19 Vaccination for the reason mentioned in my attestation.
    • Medical
    • Religious
  • If claiming a medical exemption, I have discussed with a licensed health provider (MD, DO, ARNP, PA or ND) the risks and benefits of receiving the COVID-19 vaccine and I have been advised in the provider's medical judgement that the COVID-19 vaccine is not advised for me.
  • If claiming a religious exemption, I understand the risks of not receiving the COVID-19 vaccine.
  • I am aware that if there is a COVID-19 outbreak, I may be excluded from participation in on-campus activities as well as subject to additional public health and safety measures for the duration of the outbreak

Who is covered by Governor Inslee's announcement?

Proclamation 21-14 (Vaccination Requirement) was expanded to include all employees, on-site contractors and on-site volunteers at all public and private K-12 schools, public and private 2- and 4-year institutions of higher education, and early learning and child care programs serving children from multiple households. 

This includes all trustees, board and advisory committee members, mentors, recruiters, guest speakers, and anyone else whose affiliation with the college is a paid or volunteer basis.

What kind of exemptions are allowed?

At this time, the exemptions allowed to you are dictated by your affiliation to the college.

  • Students and unaffiliated campus visitors: medical, religious.
  • Employees, on-site contractors and on-site volunteers: medical, religious
