The mission of the Testing Center is to provide examinations to candidates in a professional, secure, and accessible environment that supports academic success.
We are a Pearson VUE test center and are committed to maintaining the highest compliance standards.
All exams and certifications are done by appointments only.
BE PREPARED!
- Non-expired, government-issued photo ID is required. No exceptions will be made.
- Do not bring children, as they cannot be left unattended on the campus.
- Plan to arrive 15 minutes prior to your test time to complete the admissions/check-in process.
- No personal items are allowed in the testing area (lockers are provided).
- Examples of items NOT allowed:
- Hats or headgear. Religious headgear will be inspected by the proctor before the candidate can be allowed to enter the testing room.
- Cellphones
- Any electronic devices
- Watches and fit bits
- Wallets
- Keys
- Purses and backpacks
- Gum, candy, and any other food or beverage items
- Mechanical or person writing instruments

TESTS OFFERED

The GED Series consists of four sections:
- Mathematical Reasoning (115 minutes)
- Reasoning through Language Arts (150 minutes)
- Science (90 minutes)
- Social Studies (70 minutes)
*Note: Candidates will not be able to schedule all four GED exams on the same day. Math and Language Arts must be each taken on separate dates. Science and Social Studies may be scheduled for the same day if time slots are available.
ELIGIBILITY
- Individuals who have not graduated from high school or is 19 years or older.
- 16-18 years old Washington State residents must have approval prior to scheduling the GED exam. See Approval to Test below for additional information.
- Home schooled students need a notarized statement from the parent.
- Individuals ages 15 or under are not eligible to take the GED in Washington State.
APPROVAL TO TEST
- Individuals under the age of 19 must get a "Request for Approval to Test GED Certificate" signed by their local high school official or school district.
- The Approval to Test form must be submitted to the Testing Center before a candidate is allowed to schedule any GED exam.
- Contact the Testing Center to obtain a form.
COST
- $30 per exam, total of $120 for all four exams.

PREPARING FOR YOUR EXAM DAY
- Must provide a non-expired, government-issued photo identification with candidate's name, date of birth, signature, and photograph.
- Arrive 15 minutes prior to your exam time to complete the admissions/check-in process.
Exam length depends on exam type.

PREPARING FOR YOUR EXAM DAY

We are authorized through Prometrics to administer testing for ASE certifications.
COST
- There is a $10 fee for each administration of the ASE certification exam.
