Why Choose the Lineworker and Arboriculture Program?
If you are looking for a career that is high paying, hands-on, and essential to keeping communities safe and connected, the Lineworker and Arboriculture Program at Clover Park Technical College is the right choice. Our unique program trains students in both utility linework and tree management, giving you a powerful combination of skills that are in high demand across the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Whether you are restoring power after a storm or clearing vegetation to prevent wildfires, you will be doing meaningful work that directly impacts people's lives.
What sets our program apart is the opportunity to earn industry certifications, train on real equipment, and work with experienced instructors who know the field. You will learn how to climb utility poles, safely trim and remove trees, and operate large equipment, all while building the physical and technical skills employers are seeking. Our strong partnerships with local utility companies, vegetation management firms, and city agencies help prepare you for employment right after graduation.
This is more than just a training program. It is a pathway to a respected profession with opportunities to grow. If you enjoy working outdoors, being part of a team, and rising to physical challenges, the Lineworker and Arboriculture Program can lead you to a fulfilling, high-impact career.
