School of Aerospace and Aviation

This school prepares students for vital careers in the Pacific Northwest working with large and small airlines and airports as pilots and aviation maintenance mechanics. Students in these programs study at CPTC's South Hill Campus next to Pierce County Airport.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Automotive and Trades

These top-notch programs prepare students for careers in the automotive industry and the skilled trades. Some career options for these students include automotive mechanic, auto body repair technician, heating and air conditioning technician, electrician, construction worker and welder.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Advanced Manufacturing

This school features program options that prepare students for careers working in a variety of advanced manufacturing industries, including working with automated robotic manufacturing, fabricating composite materials, testing materials for destructive flaws, and more.  VIEW PROGRAMS

School of Nursing

Our nursing program offers numerous options to prepare students for careers in the nursing industry. Graduates can begin careers as a registered nurse, licensed practical nurse or certified nursing assistant, and pre-nursing courses can prepare students to transfer to four-year programs.  VIEW PROGRAMS

    • Description: We are so excited to be working with Expand Yoga from 3-4pm on Saturday, February 24th. There will be live musician playing. There will be breathing exercise, stretches, strengthens and balances your body using a set sequence of held poses. Perfect for beginners and appropriate even for many students with movement restrictions, including wrist, shoulder, knee or hip injuries, yet challenging even for the most athletic, fit and balanced bodies. Come try it!

    • Description: The Campus Activities Board is partnering with Art and Clay Studio of Lakewood to bring pottery painting to campus on Monday, February 26th at 6:00pm in the Atrium of Bldg 23. Pieces will be fired, glazed and be ready for you to take home at a later date for free. Doors open at 6:00pm with all supplies provided. Each CPTC student is permitted one guest for this event. Space is limited and advance RSVP is required for this event.
    • Time: 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM
    • Description: Program Information Sessions are where you can meet instructors, view training areas and ask questions. You'll learn about wages, job outlook, tools and supply lists. Walk-ins are welcome, and we recommend that all students attend. Student success offices — like financial aid, advising and enrollment services — are open until 7 p.m. after Info Sessions. Program Information Sessions are normally held at 3 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month. In most cases, program information sessions are held in the facility or classroom where the program is taught. View the Lakewood campus map or the South Hill campus map for program locations.
