Students can access the CPTC Food Pantry one time per month. They will also receive information about local area food bank resources and food stamps during their visit. The CPTC Food Pantry is a “client choice” pantry, meaning students can pick the food that suits their needs the best. Food from the pantry is a mix of donated and purchased items. The Pantry strives to provide healthy and reliable food options to the extent that funds and donations allow. Students who would like to utilize the pantry will need to provide an ID and current class schedule at the time of use.
The Food Pantry is run by the Peer Ambassador Program out of the Student Leadership & Service Center. Supplemental funding for the food pantry is provided by CPTC Student Activities Fees.
Building 23, Student Leadership & Service Center (Rm 208)
NOTE: The Student Leadership and Service Center in Building 23 also provides free peanut butter and jelly sandwiches Monday to Thursday from 11am-6pm.
To donate to the food pantry, please contact Alison Pau, firstname.lastname@example.org. We will arrange for a Peer Ambassador to pick items up directly from your office.
