Graduation applications are due in the Enrollment Services office by October 21, 2016 for all students completing their programs at the end of the Fall 2016 quarter.

Northwest Career & Technical High School

Northwest Career & Technical High School allows students to earn a high-school diploma while earning a certificate or degree in a technical field. We combine a rigorous educational program with career guidance and high-quality career and technical education. We're located on the Clover Park Technical College campus in Lakewood.

While earning a high-school diploma, students can also earn a certificate of initial competencies in their chosen career path. Students who graduate from Northwest Career & Technical High School are prepared for post-secondary education and training opportunities — and, if a student enrolls in the Elective High School option, they can leave NWC&THS with a college degree or certificate.

Entrance Requirements

To enroll at NWC&THS, you must...

  • Be at least 16 and not older than 21
  • Be a current high-school junior or senior
  • Provide an official transcript and state test scores
  • Obtain a release from your school district of residence each school year
  • Provide your own transportation
  • Have an up-to-date certificate of immunization

Enrollment Options

Option A

Earn a high-school diploma and a college certificate or degree. For this option, you enroll in a daytime adult career-path program and take academic classes in the late afternoon. Cost varies per program.

Option B

Earn a high-school diploma and enroll in a career path with high-school students from 3-6 p.m. For this option, you take academic classes from 1-3 p.m. The career-path offerings are Automotive, Cosmetology and Certified Nursing Assistant — but these are subject to sufficient enrollment.
