Soar above the rest! Workforce Navigator services at Clover Park Technical College are designed to benefit students participating in the Worker Retraining and WorkFirst programs in a variety of ways. The Navigator can help students by identifying tuition funding and other resources to get admitted to a CPTC training or degree program that leads to a high demand career. Students can expect to receive assistance for other needs, too, like referrals to support services (food, childcare, or transportation services) that may help them stay in school. As students’ progress through a program of study, the Navigator services expand to include 1:1 career readiness assistance, resume writing, cover letter development, job interview preparation, career planning and assessment, and job placement assistance.
If you would like to register for Navigator Services, then please fill out the form and click Submit. You will be contacted by the Navigator within 24 hours.
My name is Les Sessoms and I am the Workforce Navigator for the Workforce Development department at Clover Park Technical College. I have almost 8 years of experience working in higher education and workforce development environments, including serving the past 2 ½ years as the Air Washington Navigator helping students find employment in the aerospace industry. My experience also includes over 5 years of human resource recruiting experience, which comes in handy when prepping students for the labor market and dealing with human resource recruiters. I am looking forward to sharing these experiences with you! Please note that my schedule may change without notice, so pre-scheduled appointments are strongly encouraged and always welcome.
