3D Art & Animation

Adobe Photoshop

Adobe Photoshop is the industry standard for editing photos, and creating pixel based digital art. Photoshop has many uses in the Media Design field including, but not limited to: creating web page interfaces, titles and backgrounds for video, textures for use in the 3D Studio Max environment and color correcting photographs.

To be a Power User in Photoshop , one must study and practice constantly, building up a stable of tricks, techniques, shortcuts and most importantly: patience. Like a skilled pianist running through his scales, high end Photoshop users frequently work exercises to fine tune their skills. These are some projects our students have completed during their Photoshop classes.

Depending on which area of Media Design students chose for their specialty, they may take up to four classes of Photoshop. See the main college website for more information.
