During my college experience, I took advantage of an opportunity to become involved in campus life as a student leader. My involvement experience had such a positive impact on my life; I decided to become a college administrator to develop programs that inspire college students to become involved in their own experience.
 
Over the past seven years, I have directed campus life departments in the Nevada System of Higher Education and in the Community and Technical System in Washington State. I have earned an Associate’s from Pierce College, a Bachelors from the University of Washington and a Masters of Education from Western Washington University.

When I was in college at the University of Vermont, I was very involved in student leadership. Much to my surprise it was the part of college that I really enjoyed the most. I loved working with fellow student leaders to organize events and work on continuous projects on campus and off. When I moved back to Tacoma, I wanted to work in a position where I could use the skills that I achieved as a student leader. I was so fortunate to find a job at Clover Park Technical College, working as the Program Assistant to the Student Programs and Event Services Office. I have loved every moment of it so far and am looking forward to the great things to come.
