The college offers over 50 programs in the occupational areas of Business, Health, Technology, Professional Services, and Trades careers. The majority of these programs can be completed in two years or less; some programs offer an Associate of Applied Technology Degree upon successful completion. CPTC is accredited by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (a regional accrediting body recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation) and received accreditation in 1999.

Clover Park Technical College is fast becoming the centerpiece of the Lakewood Community. Several new and renovated buildings showcase the campus, including the newly opened Sharon M. McGavick Student and Conference Center. Other cutting-edge, state-of-the-art facilities include the Automotive Education Training Center; the Media Communications Center; the Phil and Sally Hayes Child Development Center; Personal Care Services Building which houses the Barbering, Cosmetology, Esthetics, Manicuring, and Massage Therapy programs; and the Flett Creek Natural Resource Laboratory and Research Park. The South Hill campus (Puyallup, Washington) is a 49,000 square foot Aviation Training Complex which houses the Aviation Maintenance Technician and Professional Pilot training programs.
