Northwest Career and Technical High School is a school of choice on the Clover Park Technical College campus that provides a rigorous educational program combined with career guidance and high quality career and technical education. Students:

  • Earn a high school diploma from Northwest Career and Technical High School.
  • Earn a certificate of initial competencies in their chosen career path.
  • Are prepared to articulate into post-secondary education and training opportunities.
  • Students who enroll in the “Elective High School” option can earn a certificate or a degree.

Entrance Requirements

  • At least 16 years of age, and not older than 21.
  • A current high school junior or senior.
  • Provide an official transcript and WASL scores.
  • Obtain a release from their school district of residence each school year.
  • Provide own transportation.
  • Up-to-date Certificate of Immunization

Enrollment Options

Students have the option of only enrolling in a Career Pathway upon agreement with their home school district. Students selecting this option will earn a diploma according to the graduation requirements of their home high school.

Graduation Requirements & Distribution of Credits

The following non-credit graduation requirements apply for those who entered the 9th grade in 2004 or after:

  • High School Proficiency Exam (HSPE)
  • High School and Beyond Education Plan
