If you have received a disbursement of aid (either aid applied toward your tuition and fee charges and/or you received a financial aid check) and you are considering withdrawing* from one or more classes, you should be aware of the policies listed below as they can have an impact on your future aid eligibility as well as whether or not you will owe a repayment of the financial aid funds you received.
*Students are considered to have formally withdrawn from classes if their registration records reflect the withdrawal and to have informally withdrawn from classes if they remain enrolled but stop attending.
