Horticulture Education consists of understanding whatever has to do with the growing of ornamentals, vegetables, fruits, and plants of all kinds prized for their general interest. The formal departments of horticulture, and defined by the plant subjects are pomology (fruit growing), floriculture (flower growing), olericulture (vegetable growing), plant breeding, ornamental horticulture and landscape practice.
