Profile: Connie Ladenburg
Connie was born in Modesto, California on July 16, 1950. She attended Aquinas High school in Tacoma WA and graduated class of 1968. She then attended Pacific Lutheran University for social work she graduated PLU in class of 1997. Connie then transferred to the University of Washington to receive her Masters Degree in social work. She began working at Safe Streets and then the City of Tacoma.
She began working at Safe Streets and then the City of Tacoma. She married October 11, 1969 to her still husband John W. Ladenburg Sr. In 2010 Connie began working for Ladenburg Law Governmental Affairs; where she worked in Lobbying, Non Profit Advocacy, Community Organizing, Coalition building, and Negotiation.
Connie left that job in December of 2010 and in January 2011 she started working at the state capitol. Connie represents the 29th Legislative District: the South end of Tacoma, Parkland, and East end of Lakewood, Washington and still works there today.
