Food

Food Pantry

The food pantry serves any student in need of food. It is located in the Student Leadership & Service Center, Building 23. Students can access food once per month. The process is easy:

  1. Stop into the Student Leadership & Service Center, Building 23, and inform the student staff behind the desk that you’d like to use the food pantry.
  2. The staff will take you to the food pantry, verify that you’re a current student and have you answer a few questions about the size of your household.
  3. You pick out the food you want.

Please pass along this message to any students who may benefit from this amazing program. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us at involvement@cptc.edu or 253-589-5780.

PB&J Sandwiches

The Student Leadership & Service Center located in Building 23 provides free Peanut Butter & Jelly sandwiches on Monday-Thursday from 11 am – 6 pm. Bring your Student ID and pick up a PB&J when you need something to satisfy your hunger. Students may have one PB&J per day.

Cookie Wednesday

The Student Leadership & Service Center bakes Otis Spunkmeyer chocolate chips cookies every Wednesday during the academic quarter. They are available to students starting at 11am while supplies last. Bring your student ID to the SLSC and get your cookies next Wednesday.

Popcorn

The Student Leadership & Service Center provides popcorn for all guests on Fridays starting around 11am. Bring a friend and stop by to get some popcorn during the academic quarter. Occasionally we feature special seasonings or a popcorn bar to make your treat extra special.

Students must have the current quarter’s verification sticker on their Student ID before riding the bus. Verification stickers will be available in the Student Leadership & Service Center in Building 23. Finances/Money

Pay for CPTC

We want to make CPTC as accessible as possible, and finances are one of the biggest barriers that students face. We provide a number of different ways to pay for your education at CPTC — click here and browse through the options to find out more.

CPTC Foundation Scholarships

CPTC Foundation scholarships provide financial assistance to help meet educational expenses.

CPTC Foundation Emergency Assistance, aka Simon’s Fund

When funding is available, emergency assistance through Simon’s Fund may help students meet emergency financial needs that would prevent students from continuing their education. Simon’s Fund is coordinated through the Advising and Counseling Office. Please contact Kristen Bate in Building 17, Room 150, or at 253-589-5548 if you have questions or to turn in an application.
