Introduces students to the OR environment, aseptic principles and practices, scrubbing, gowning, gloving, and preparation of the sterile field, abdominal incisions, ob-gyn, general, ophthalmic, and genitourinary surgeries. Prerequisites: Successful completion of MAT 108, ENGL& 101, BIOL 118, CAH 102, 103, 104, and SOC& 101.
