Develop an independent study plan that will enhance learning of patient-related topics, or enhance understanding and demonstration of the registered nurse role. Conduct an in-depth literature review with a written synthesis paper, or complete additional preceptorship hours. Students must submit a plan for the independent study to include objectives and grading criteria to the Instructor and/or Director for approval prior to registering for the class. Prerequisites: NURS 208, NURS 211, NURS 212, NURS 214, NURS 215, NURS 217, NUS 218, NURS 222, NURS 224, and NURS 226.
