INTRODUCTION TO MEDICAL ESTHETICS OFFICE PROCEDURES

Develop skills necessary to work efficiently in a medical office. Includes ethics, professionalism, records management, chart writing, patient intake, post-surgical care skills, first aid, CPR, and BBP. Medical terminology as it pertains to esthetic medical procedures will also be covered. Prerequisites: Successful completion of state-approved entry-level esthetic program and proof of esthetic license from Washington State.
Learning Outcomes:- Accurately define medical terms used in medical esthetic offices.
- Demonstrate proficiency in vital signs and patient intake forms.
- Obtain certification for First Aid and CPR.
- Demonstrate skills in record management.
