Designed to familiarize students with the state and federal laws as they apply to dentistry. Students will become acquainted with OSHA guidelines for infection control and risk management for the dental office. This course includes activities and discussions related to cultural diversity.

• Study and explain state and federal laws as they apply to dentistry, and the impact of ethics and law on the dental business office.
• Explain why the business assistant must understand and comply with Infection Control.
• Embrace Diversity/ Multiculturalism.
• Identify factors used to explain tolerance as it relates to cultural differences and give a personal opinion.
