Carousel Cooperative Preschool teacher

Marian Berry (Teacher Marian) has taught preschool for 24 years, 18 of them in cooperative preschools. She has been at Carousel Cooperative Preschool since February 2000 and teaches 4 & 5 year olds. She really enjoys being with the children and parents. Since children learn in many different ways, curriculum is presented in a variety of ways. She enjoys music so it is an integral part of each day. During the year, the children will be introduced to colors, numbers, letters, and their sounds. They will learn about people in some other places on earth. They will also be presented with many scientific concepts, including weather, plants, magnets and various animals and insects. Lots of “hands-on” experiences are provided. All children will learn what they are ready to learn. It is exciting to watch them develop and grow.
