The Department of Student Life is excited to share there will be TWO on-campus movie night events this quarter! We asked students to vote for the April movie showing and the movie with the most votes was Five Nights at Freddy's!
Please join Student Life on Friday, April 12 in Building 23 for what is sure to be a fun filled night. Doors open at 6pm (ice cream & photos) and the movie starts promptly at 6:30pm.
This event is open to all current CPTC students, faculty, staff, and UNLIMITED guests! There will be an ice cream bar, coloring pages, and a custom photobooth at the event.
A variety of seating arrangements will be available including theater style (chairs only), banquet style (tables & chairs), and open space for you to bring your own blankets, pillows, bean bags, etc. .

The Campus Activities & Advocacy Board (CAAB) is pleased to offer you an opportunity to spend a Saturday at the zoo! Join us for a great afternoon at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium on Saturday, April 20 from 11am-3:30pm. This event is FREE for current CPTC students. Students are permitted to bring ONE guest also free of charge. RSVP is required as space is limited.
Please note, department representatives will be on site at Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium checking students in from 11:00am-12:15pm only. Please be sure to arrive prior to 12:15pm as no one from CPTC will be on site after 12:15pm.

Did you know that ONE pint of blood can save THREE lives? Student Life is partnering with Bloodworks Northwest to host a blood drive on Tuesday, April 30. Students, employees, and community members can sign up to donate blood between 9am-3pm. Sign up is preferred, though walk-ins may be available. Our goal is to secure 41 donors. Help us reach that goal and sign up for a spot today!
- All current CPTC students (taking classes in spring 2024) who sign up for a spot, and show up to their appointment, will receive a $15 AMC Movie gift card.
- Donors ages 16-17 will need their parent or guardian to sign a permission form in advance. Permission forms are available at the Student Leadership & Service Center (SLSC).

The Asia Pacific Cultural Center (APCC), a local community organization whose mission is to bridge communities and generations together through art, culture, education, and business - is hosting their monthly Taste of Asia Event on Saturday, May 4. In honor of National Turtle Day (May 23), CAAB is hosting a campus favorite event - the rubber turtle scavenger hunt! More than 200 rubber turtles will be hiding around the Lakewood campus. Find a rubber turtle (or two) and bring them to the Student Leadership & Service Center (SLSC) to receive your prize!
