Yvonne Meziere has been active in the Massage Profession since her licensure in 1981. Since that time she has continued to educate the public about the numerous benefits of a massage therapy while also striving to elevate the profession to the professional level it experiences today. Yvonne served on the Washington State Board of Massage in the 1980’s helping to revise the testing and licensure process in the state.

She has been teaching massage since 1983, providing training to hundreds of massage students. Her experience in the profession is varied and diverse; she has years of clinical experience and has worked with infants, professional athletes, elderly, and with individuals challenged with chronic pain and illness including cancer.

Yvonne developed one of the first intensive continuing education courses for Licensed Massage Practitioners to provide training for L.M.P.’s working with clients who are experiencing cancer. She has been published in Massage Magazine writing an article on the role of Massage therapy in the complimentary care of women with breast cancer. Her commitment to and years of experience in the profession and her love of teaching combine in a sincere desire to train dedicated massage students that will go on to provide quality care to clients and excellence in the profession.
