Michelle has been practicing massage in Washington State since September of 1998, having graduated with honors from Seattle Massage School. She came to the massage profession with over a decade of retail and management experience, and a bachelor’s degree in biology. Michelle is still very active in the massage community, having built a successful private massage practice; seeing clients in the morning and early afternoon before coming to Clover Park Technical College to teach the evening Massage Studies Program.
Michelle came to Clover Park Technical College in 2002, and brings a wealth of experience to the classroom, having worked with a variety of clients in a number of settings. In addition to seeing people in her own clinic, she has also worked in people’s homes, doctor’s offices, hospitals, and in hospice settings. She has continued to grow in the massage field, studying modalities such as Cranial Sacral Therapy, Pre- and Perinatal massage, Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage, and various injury assessment and treatment strategies.
