PTN 150 Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (Includes First Aid & CPR)
American Heart Association approved course consists of adult, child and infant CPR and First Aid. Overview of AED procedures included. This class meets OSHA and WISHA requirements. MLT 200 Phlebotomy Skills Certificate
Develop the skills necessary to collect blood specimens for analysis in a laboratory. Includes an introduction to the structure and function of a clinical laboratory. Hands-on practice in phlebotomy skills will be provided. Prerequisite: Formal training in a health career or 1-year work experience in health occupations. Students must bring documentation of training and/or experience to first class. NOTE: To be eligible to sit for the National Exam each student must complete, on their own outside the college, a minimum of 100 sticks on top of a successful completion of the classroom instruction.
